Jack Sodeman Jr. Rallies for Top-Ten After Early Flat,
Ready for three-race weekend in Ohio and Pennsylvania

NORTH JACKSON, Oh. (June 6, 2016) - Unfortunately, Jack Sodeman Jr. was forced to race his way forward from the back on Friday night at Lernerville Speedway, recovering from early race contact, resulting in a broken left-rear wheel, to finish sixth at the final checkers. It was Sodeman’s fourth top-ten finish at “The Action Track” in 2016 and his eighth of the season overall, which includes top-ten finishes at Mercer Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway.
The North Jackson, Ohio, native currently finds himself second in the Lernerville Speedway championship chase and plans to return to the Sarver oval this Friday night for another round of Fab-Four competition.
“It’s tough to get caught up in stuff like that, but it’s racing. There isn’t a lot you can do about it,” explained Jack Sodeman Jr. “I’m proud to recover for a top-ten finish. We’ve been consistent all year long. We’ll attempt to rebound this Friday night and work back toward the front.”
The pilot of the Glassmere Fuel, Economy Tooling, PRS Transit, Townsend Gas & Oil, Inc., Butlerbuilt, Keizer Aluminum Wheels, Simpson Race Products, Triple X Race Components, No. 23Jr plans to enter three events during the upcoming weekend including Saturday night action at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. The former Mercer Raceway Park track champion will conclude his Ohio/Pennsylvania triple-header weekend on Sunday, June 12, with a potential trip to the Millstream Speedway in Findlay, Ohio.
“Right now our plan is to race as much as we can,” said Jack Sodeman Jr. “The weather has been our biggest opponent this season. Hopefully that clears up and we can get some racing in.”
