By Fully Injected Motorsports:

NORTH JACKSON, Ohio (July 5, 2016) – For the second consecutive weekend, Jack Sodeman, Jr. earned a trip to Mercer Raceway Park victory lane, this time worth $4,000 during the Racers For Kids charity program on Saturday, July 2. In response, the North Jackson, Ohio, native donated $1,000 back to the Racers For Kids charity. The victory raised Sodeman’s win total to three on the season, also increasing his top-five total to 11, all within 19 starts.

“We finally have everything just about where it needs to be,” Sodeman explained. “The best part about about winning is building confidence and momentum, and those are certainly two, very important elements to have for a successful season. Having the throwback car in victory lane was extra special, too. We’ve been having a lot of fun. We have a lot of people who help make all of this possible. We wouldn’t be here without them.”

On top of his Mercer Raceway Park victory, Jack Sodeman, Jr. made two additional starts during the recent weekend, one during BOSS non-wing sprint car competition and one during Patriot Sprint Tour 360 sprint car competition. Sodeman, a multi-time feature winner with the wing off, finished fourth against the BOSS invaders at Lernerville Speedway on Friday night, July 1, battling inside the top-five during most of the main event before settling into fourth on the final circuit.

Sodeman’s Patriot Sprint Tour start at Eriez Speedway on Sunday, July 3, resulted in a 13th place performance after starting in row 11. The North Jackson, Ohio, native rebounded for the top-15 finish after racing through the evening’s B-main, the result of a tangle during his respective heat race.

Up next on the schedule, Jack Sodeman, Jr. will participate in a pair of events in Western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio, one of which against the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions. Sodeman will return to Lernerville Speedway on Friday night, July 8, for a Fab Four racing program, all before a visit to Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio, on Saturday, July 9. The $10,000-to-win Lou Blaney Memorial will highlight competition at the state-of-the-art Sharon Speedway, the second and final appearance for the Arctic Cat All Stars in 2016.
