With a 6th starting spot in his heat and the bad luck of last week still on his mind, Sodeman was a man on a mission. He battled his way through the field and was victorious at the end of the eight lap race. In the feature Sodeman fought to keep position through a crowded field. At the checkered flag he took the 4th position by a nose.
