Lernerville

7/22/2009

With Mother Nature against us on Tuesday everyone returned to Lernerville for the WoO race on Wednesday night. From the beginning of the night the 23jr machine was a challenge. Qualifying 20th landed Sodeman a 5th place starting spot in his heat. Sodeman would finish the heat in the 8th position, sending him to the B-Main. Unfortunately Sodeman would go the opposite direction in position and end up finishing in the 14th position.

Sodeman did take his provisionals to get the 23jr into the back to back 30 lap A-Mains. Sodeman had a hand full with his machine and as he was being lapped by the leader he pulled off. The team tried to diagnose the problem, to set him up for the second A-Main. Unfortunately a large push in the car made it unsafe to keep on the race track for the second feature. So to save his and others equipment, Sodeman pulled off. Sodeman would be scored in 28th position for the first race and 26th for the second.
